1 Muizenberg Flea Market

The Muizenberg Flea Market initiated many years ago and has attracted crowds of potential buyers to this locale. The market currently has a variety of stalls each selling a variety of products at affordable prices. As an added benefit, the market is situated slightly off Muizenberg beach allowing beach-goers to do a quick last minute Sunday shopping at the markets.

When: Every Sunday, 09:00am – 17:00pm
What you’ll find: A variety of items for sale. Common items include clothing, groceries, food, electronics, furniture, motor mechanical accessories, home décor and essentials, and ethnic artwork to name a few.

2 Milnerton Flea Market

The Milnerton flea market, like the Muizenberg Flea market, is one of the oldest informal trading market place which exist in Cape Town. This street market offers all your needs and wants at a central point. It’s not every day we get to shopping with a view of the ocean in the background.

When: Every Saturday 07:30am – 14:00pm and Sunday 08:00am – 15:00pm
What you’ll find: The question you should be asking is, “what won’t I find there?”. The stalls offer items suited for personal use, household use and décor, gardening motor mechanics, delicious foods and much more which we will leave for you to explore.

3 Greenmarket Square

The Greenmarket square is the tourist capital of all street markets. This very lively market is always buzzing with curious shoppers. There are some live instrumental entertainment by locals.

When: Every day of the week, 09:00am -17:00pm
What you’ll find:  Mainly African crafts, jewellery and clothing items.

4 City Bowl Market

The City bowl market is an evening market which comprise of roughly 30 stalls. Each stall specialises in different meals and drinks which are homemade. 7 Made in the Cape Market

The Made in the Cape street market is an opportunity for small enterprises to showcase their creativity, arts, crafts and services to the public. Here you can view products’ such as tyres turned into conformable handmade chairs!

8 Hout Bay Lions Craft Market
